Siamo nel dopoguerra, Sergio Gavazzeni studia alle superiori; suo padre produce bottoni e Sergio decide che può dargli una mano a promuovere il prodotto.

Monta un portapacchi sulla sua bici, ci carica una pesante valigia piena di cartelle di bottoni, parte.

La bicicletta è più lenta di un motorino, ma proprio per questo il mondo che attraversa é più ricco di dettagli. Pedalando, Sergio conosce tante persone e scopre gusti, esigenze e obiettivi diversi; ma soprattutto vede quanto il dettaglio possa esprimerli e fare la differenza.

Un'intuizione che, continuando a “pedalare”, lo porterà molto più avanti.

A Rovato, tra i vitigni della Franciacorta, Sergio Gavazzeni avvia la sua personale avventura e fonda nel 1979 un primo laboratorio di accessori moda. Lo aiuta la moglie Katia Orlandini, cresciuta negli uffici di una grande griffe italiana del prêt-à-porter: Max Mara.

La tenacia, la passione e le esperienze di entrambi si fondono in sinergie vincenti e nasce Dora, azienda che rapidamente emerge e si afferma per il valore artigianale delle sue cinture uomo e donna ed il crescente livello di clienti e griffe con cui collabora.

Squadra e famiglia crescono con i figli Elena e Pietro, nutriti con la passione di famiglia; si moltiplicano così abilità, intuizioni, idee e la consapevolezza di avere creato un'impronta, uno stile proprio che merita un nome.

Gavazzeni diviene marchio di famiglia e affianca le creazioni realizzate per i grandi nomi italiani della moda.

In Rovato, among the vines of Franciacorta, Sergio Gavazzeni started his personal adventure and founded in 1979 a first fashion accessories workshop. His wife Katia Orlandini, who grew up in the offices of a great Italian prêt-à-porter brand, is helping him: Max Mara.
